The Jelen z Misek family farm in collaboration with Terra Network and Syntropy are pleased and excited to invite you to a:
Photo: Syntropic system at Hof vErde, Germany
For everybody who wants to explore nature laws in depth and understand how can we interact with them, not against.
You don´t need to be a scientist, farmer, gardener, ecologist, philosopher, environmentalist, activist, but you can!
This course is for everybody who wants to open eyes and observe how everything in nature cooperates towards a better, more fertile, diverse, abundant and harmonious place.
And you will learn how we can be part of this process too.

You will experience all that in a very exciting, entertaining and friendly environment by a charismatic teacher and practicioner Felipe Amato from Terra Network.
Don´t be afraid that you wouldn´t understand something. This course is very inclusive and Felipe will be there to explain the topic in a very comprehensive way using many funny metaphores, photos and short videos so that everybody can understand, feel comfortable and have fun 😉

This event is for everybody who resonates in some ways with the ideas above. It aims for creating a bridge between people from diverse interest groups – for mutual enrichment and new friendships.

Led by Felipe Amato this course includes 5 full days of theory in the morning and practice in the afternoon at the Jelen z Misek farm in Miskovice, Czech republic.
Price includes tea, coffee and little snack during the morning part, daily lunch and later on tea, coffee and cake break in the afternoon.
(If you find the price too high, please take in count that this is a 5-day intense learning process where Felipe is openly sharing his more than 10 years experience with syntropic agriculture in Europe. There are not so many people who could do that.
Many participants described this course as „life-changing“ (see one of the feedbacks below). You will learn to see Nature and it´s laws with a different paradigm. The course will also give you a very deep and detailed understanding on how to use these principles in practice. You will be part of the installation process and will see and experience it step-by-step. You will have space to ask your questions. You will also experience the design process.
This price also partially includes food and planting material and the organization around, so by investing in your personal growth you can also support the possibility for this unique demonstration plot to be born and to inspire many other people.)
The course is divided into theoretical lessons in the morning and a practical implementation in the afternoon.
5 days to cover the basics of syntropic agroforestry and plant the beginning of a highly diverse fruit, berry, nut, spices and herb system.
Felipe will hold the course in English, whereby individual plant names or technical terms can be translated.

Agricultural systems inspired by the local and native ecosystems of a given place, enabling the production of food, timber, fiber and other agricultural activities.
Highly diverse and dense forest systems that allow continuous harvesting of crops while maintaining healthy soil that is very little to not dependent on external inputs.
* History and principles of syntropic agroforestry
* How to establish and manage syntropic agroforestry systems
* How to reconcile these systems with nature’s patterns (sun, wind, topography, local flora, etc.)
* Selection of an appropriate plant consortium for each stage and soil type of the system
* Selecting and planning the production of products with added value
* Strata: How plants behave in their environment
* Natural Succession: How the system evolves through subsequent plants
* Mulching: On the importance of keeping the soil covered with organic matter and how mulch production is integrated into the system
* Planting: Practical implementation of planting planning in the field

„For me, the Introduction to Syntropic Agroforesty course at Hof vErde with Filipe was both a life changing agroforestry course and a life-changing philosophy course.
The impact of my learnings not only included a delightfully mind-blowing expansion on agroforestry techniques, but also went beyond these techniques & principles to impact my understanding of the flow of life, my function on this planet, and my species’ function on this planet.
The philosophy of syntropy offers instructions on how to cohesively mimic forest systems to rapidly regenerate top soil, produce rain, manage optimizers (pests), suppress unwanted plants, and continuously produce food and market crops.
AND ALSO it offers a philosophy of how to be a version of human that chooses to take its place as a small, integral piece of a larger intelligent system based on principles of cooperation and unconditional love. This is a beautiful antidote to our culture’s obsession with Darwinian competition, individualism, and resource hoarding.
This course gives instructions on how to be a species that works to fulfill our function of building and maintaining abundance in our greater ecosystem while including human and non-human species in a philosophy of sharing and cooperation.
Even with permaculture courses and other regenerative farming techniques I learned about before this, there was always a puzzle piece missing. The sheer amount of inputs needed, the pests we succumbed to or sprayed with organic pesticides, the endless weeding, the susceptibility to weather & climate change… all felt like we were still fighting against nature instead of working with it.
Syntropic agroforestry was the puzzle piece I was missing.
Maris Harmon, participant of the course in October 2022
To find out more, I encourage you to take the course as well. I think everyone in the world should take this course.“
